Applications for the 3rd competition are open!
Dear friends,
we are happy to inform you, that applications for the 3rd Oskar Nedbal International Viola Competition 2021 are open! The competition will be held September 30 - October 3, 2021 at the Prague Conservatory, Prague, Czech Republic. Application deadline is August 25, 2021. We are looking forward to see you in Prague!

Invitation
Dear violists, viola lovers and friends, in next two days (October 29 and 30) the first round recordings will be published on our YouTube channel (special one for this year - Nedbal competition 2020) and Facebook, so you can listen to all of them. On October 30 after 6PM, we will announce the 1st round resultes on our web and social media. On October 31, you can listen on our channel to all 2nd round participants and again in the evening we will announce the final resultes.
We would like to welcome everybody to listen our great competitiors, feel free to support them by comment under their videos!

1st round recordings
Dear violists, thank you so much for your wonderful recordings! We have received 54 videos from competitiors from 21 countries! Great job everybody!! 
P.S. don't forget to send your 2nd round videos until October 28 (incl.)
Online competition
Dear violists,
as we inform you by email, following the current situation, we have to turn our competition into an online version. The pandemic situation is getting worse and due to your safety we have decided to make this year in distance. Please, send us the video recordings of both rounds until October 24, 2020 (incl.).
